I've been to the gym for a Spin today, LOL!  I really enjoyed it.  My friend did her housework and then spruced up  the garden.  We BOTH felt guilty!  How sad is that?? Neither of us sat down, ate cake or read a magazine...

We need to be kinder on ourselves. Everyone needs 'Me Time', to exercise, relax or just be ... We can't be Supermen and Superwomen all the time.

Things That Help Keep you Fit!

  • Housework 
  • Gardening
  • Eating healthily
  • Fidget and burn calories
  • Park at the opposite end of the car-park 
  • Take the stairs and not the lift 
  • Dancing is fun and burns calories: you could try zumba!
  • A walk in the park or walking the dog
  • Get a pedometer and track your footsteps
  • Go to the gym
  • Take up tennis, badminton or try a team sport
  • Get a bike and cycle to work
  • Walk to work
  • Get off the bus a stop earlier
  • Stretch and try yoga or pilates
  • Take up swimming or aqua aerobics
  • Go hiking with friends
  • Play football with your children
  • Get fit in an outdoor gym, or adult playground
  • or simply walk up and down stairs to burn off calories

Gyms are for everyone, regardless of  age, size or level of fitness.
The trick is to find something that you enjoy and make it part of your everyday life.
