Cucamelons!

I''m growing cucamelons for the first time.  They look amazing and I want to inspire my children to grow them. Don't they look cute?

At 'LearnHowToGarden', Mark Abbott Compton gives a great overview of how to grow and care for this exotic little fruit, including hints and tips on feeding.

The cucamelon is quite new to the UK.  They are drought-tolerant and easy to grow.  They are vines, so you will need to provide something for them to climb up.  You don't need a greenhouse, but they can be slow to get going. Mine are!

Check out James Wong's site to find out more about growing this exciting new fruit.  He includes recipes here, too.

You can buy the seeds at Suttons Seeds if you want to grow them, too.
