Make Your Own Leggings...

Ever thought of making your own leggings?  They are not not difficult, if you use an old pair as a template and cut around them.  An overlocker is great, but not essential.  The stretch stitches on an ordinary sewing machine are good enough.

You definitely need a stretch needle though.  They can be bought at most haberdashery shops.  I buy mine at Jaycotts.

I made 3 pairs of these leggings for 3 cousins on their annual trip to the seaside!

The fabric is stretch seaside jersey fabric, bought from Tia Knight Inspired Fabrics. They offer a vast selection of jersey cotton, lycra and interlock fabrics.

I followed Gianny's Tutorial below: it is the best!
