I often make pizza dough and freeze it or make one pizza and freeze one for later... Freeze the base flat on a tray (decorated or not) and cover in clingfilm: job done!

DIY pizzas are ideal for children. My children love making their own and choosing their topping for their portion. Children are more likely to eat it if they made it themselves :)
Breadmaker Pizza Dough Recipe - Makes one large or 2 smaller pizza bases
1 cup water
1 tbsp oil
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 3/4 cups strong white flour
1 tsp dry yeast
Put the ingredients in your bread pan in the correct order for your machine and select the Pizza or Dough setting.
When the program has finished, tip the dough onto a floured surface and knock it back. Knead it until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.
Shape the dough into one large or two smaller circles (and it will keep shrinking back, so persevere). Make your crust thick or thin, whichever you prefer.
Put the pizza base on a lightly oiled tray, covered with lightly oiled clingfilm and leave in a warm place to rise for about 15 minutes.
Prepare your toppings...Spread tomato purée or passata on the pizza base, and add toppings of your choice or have the children add their own toppings (see examples below).
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C or 180 degrees C Fan (400F) or Gas Mark 6. Cook for 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the top is bubbling.
Use ready-cooked pizza bases or a packet mix, if you are short on time. French bread, muffins, and half-baked baguettes are also good alternatives for a quick pizza.
