Kale crisps are light and taste like crispy seaweed... They are totally addictive!
I used up my home-grown curly kale, just as it was bolting...
Ingredients
Fresh kale
Salt
2 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Heat oven to 180C, Gas Mark 4 or 356F.
- Wash kale and dry (use a salad spinner or shake in a colander.)
- Using scissors, chop off each leaf's large central stem and cut into bite-size pieces.
- Spread onto a baking tray in a single layer for even cooking.
- Cook in centre of oven for 3-5 minutes until crisp. Watch them as they easily burn.
- Leave on counter for 5 minutes before eating, for crispier crisps...
