Get Fit Fast!

It's official, Dr Michael Mosley, puts exercise to the test to find out what works best.  He concludes that short, quick bursts of exercise get good results faster. He recommends:
  • 3 short bursts of 10-minute exercise a day.
  • 2 or 3x a week.
Use a spin bike or cross-trainer for 10 minutes at a time to get fit, fast.
To improve muscle-mass fast you need to use the heaviest weights you can manage and lift until you can lift no more,  2x a week.
Walk at a faster pace for a shorter time.
Try short, speedy walks around the park, up and down stairs at home or work, wherever you can fit it into your day.

  • 1 minute star jumps
  • 1 minute squats
  • 1 minute sprint
  • 1 minute star jumps
  • 1 minute squats
Sometimes, less really is more :)
